Spitfires Bring the Action to Windsor, Lasalle, Lakeshore & Chatham This Preseason

Windsor, ON – August 14, 2025 — The Windsor Spitfires are set to hit the ice as they officially open their 2025 Training Camp at the WFCU Centre from Thursday, August 28 to Saturday, August 30, 2025. Fans are invited to attend all practices and games free of charge, as the team prepares for the upcoming OHL season.

Thursday, August 28

5:00 PM – Practice – Team Red
6:00 PM – Practice – Team White
7:00 PM – Practice – Team Blue

Friday, August 29

9:00 AM – Game: Team White vs Team Blue
10:15 AM – Game: Team White vs Team Red
11:30 AM – Game: Team Blue vs Team Red
5:00 PM – Game: Team White vs Team Red
6:15 PM – Game: Team Red vs Team Blue
7:30 PM – Game: Team Blue vs Team White

Saturday, August 30

9:00 AM – Skills – Team White
10:15 AM – Skills – Team Blue
4:00 PM – Annual Blue vs White Game (Full Game)

Dates and times are subject to change. Training Camp rosters will be announced at a later date.

🗓️ Preseason Action Hits the Road

Continuing their community outreach initiative, the Spitfires will take their preseason games to surrounding local venues in Lasalle and Lakeshore, Ontario, bringing OHL action closer to fans across the region.

Sept 5 – @ Flint Firebirds – Iceland Arena, Flint – 7:00 PM
Sept 7 – @ Saginaw Spirit – Chatham Memorial Arena (Home of the GOJHL's Chatham Maroons)
Sept 13 – vs Kitchener Rangers – Atlas Tube Centre, Lakeshore (Home of the Lakeshore Canadiens)
Sept 14 – vs Flint Firebirds – Vollmer Complex, Lasalle (Home of the Lasalle Vipers)

🎉 Mark Your Calendars: Regular Season Begins!

The Spitfires open the 2025-26 OHL season on the road against the Sarnia Sting on Friday, September 19, followed by their home opener on Saturday, September 20 against the rival London Knights at the WFCU Centre. Puck drop is at 7:05 PM.
