WECSSAA soccer in full swing

L'Essor hosted their season opener in Tecumseh against Cardinal Carter in sr. boys action. Both teams had the windy conditions on their side for a half. Les Aigles couldn't capitalize as the game was scoreless at the half. The Cougars had their turn in the second half but could not find the back of the net either. L'Essor's Jared Scarlett and CC's Colin Lefebvre each posted a clean sheet as each team earns a point. The Cougars have a win and a tie in their first two games and are in second place in the 2A County division.
