Former Lancer throwing rocks instead of shots.

Celine Gibb is the second best heavy event competitor in Canada but was a champion at the Kingsville Highland Games. The former Lancer thrower helped organize the heavy event competition for the inaugural games and aspires to host a national championships in Essex-County one day.

Gibb was a three-time national champ with the UWindsor women's track and field team and a two-time shot put gold medal winner at nationals but is now throwing rocks. She is now a Highland Games Heavy Eventer caber tossing and hammer throwing.

Competing in the Highland Games has extended her athletic career and Gibb ussed the Kingsville event to prepare for the Ontario Championships at the Embro Games July 1st.
