Caboto U16's advance to final

The 2005 Caboto girls soccer team were on the road Sunday and beat London Alliance FC 1-0 to advance to the final of the Ontario Cup. Serena Nalli scored a top right one-time late in the first half and the team shut the door in the second half for the win. "Very proud of the girls" said head coach Joe Barile. "I've coached them for a number of years so I'm really happy for them".

Sienna Basile recorded the clean sheet helping the Strikers punch their ticket to the Ontario Cup final September 12th in Toronto. Barile sensed his team was focused on holding the fort in the second half. "It was their day, even though it was extremely hot. They battled through and held on".
