Canadian lightweight Kyle Prepolec gave a spirited performance at UFC Fight Night 232 on October 18, 2025, in front of a hometown crowd at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena — but ultimately fell to Drew Dober via TKO in the third round.

Prepolec came out strong, landing solid shots and even opening a cut on Dober’s leg in Round 2. He looked sharp and aggressive, giving fans hope for a breakthrough win in the UFC.
However, Round 3 took a controversial turn. Dober landed a low blow that briefly halted the action. Prepolec took time to recover while Dober got some rest. After the restart, Dober surged, landing knees and punches that forced a stoppage just 1:16 into the round.
Despite the loss, Prepolec’s performance earned the bout Fight of the Night honors — a sign of the intensity and heart he brought to the cage. His UFC record now stands at 0-4, but the Windsor native proved once again that he’s more than willing to go toe-to-toe with seasoned veterans.
What’s next for Prepolec remains to be seen, but his gutsy showing in Vancouver may earn him another shot.
