Windsor's Kyle Prepolec will be in Montreal for UFC 315 after stepping up to be a last-minute replacement for Joel Alvarez. He'll square off against Benoit Saint Denis.
"It's better to stay ready instead of having to get ready," Prepolec told Powerplay Sports. "Always keep pushing in moving forward past any obstacles. Sometimes it just takes one more push to get to where you want to be."

Prepolec is 18-8 in his pro MMA career and is currently riding a streak of three consecutive wins. However, with his last two bouts cancelled, the 35-year old's last contest was in June of 2024 when he took care of Gustavo Wurlitzer in the first round.
The last time he fought in the UFC was in 2019 in a loss to Austin Hubbard.
Despite the short prep time, Prepolec is excited to take on Saint Denis.
"He’s just like everyone else. After he gets hit he will probably try to go for the takedown which he will be surprised that I can wrestle as well and put him in a world of trouble. I’ve been ready and training for guys like this my whole career."
