Lakeshore closes out Thamesford

The Lakeshore Canadiens are the PJHL's Western Conference champions after Tuesday night's 3-1 win in Thamesford.


"I thought the series was good overall." said head coach Anthony Iaquinta, whose team swept the Trojans 4-0. "There was a lot of things we did well."

The Canadiens got goals from Aydon Novacco (first period), Bryce Scarlett (game winner in the 2nd period) and Matteo Frattaroli (empty netter) while Nick Bolton made 35 saves.


Lakeshore now advances to the Schmalz Cup round robin. "We are happy to be back in the tournament this year and hopefully we can continue to work hard to reach our goal." said Iaquinta.
