Flint assistant giving back

Flint Firebirds assistant coach Mark Ridout has kept busy during the pandemic skating with his good friend Ryan Tallon who is head coach of the Riverside Rangers u16 A team. "It's pretty cool for them and it's good for me to stay on the ice as well". said Ridout.

Tallon says his friend has brought a different perspective to the team and the staff, which includes his brother Matt. He feels Ridout's presence gives the players a taste of major junior hockey they otherwise may not get to experience. "For the staff it is great to see how at any level it is the little things and attention to detail matter".

Hear from Ridout in the following video brought to you by the St. College Alumni Association.
