Vipers rebound with much needed win

ree

The LaSalle Vipers beat the Komoka Kings 6-1 Wednesday night at the Vollmer Complex snapping a short two-game losing skid. Ryan Clark scored on the powerplay at 1:21 of the second to snap a 1-1 tie. Nick Graniero added a pair less than three minutes apart midway through the middle frame including a shorthanded marker to give the Vipers some breathing room.

LaSalle improves to 3-2 and are tied with St. Mary's for first place in the GOJHL. The Lincolns have yet to lose and have two games in hand. The Vipers head to St. Mary's Friday. They are back home next Wednesday when they host St. Thomas.
