The popularity of beach volleyball is undeniable and players of all levels have a chance play downtown. Registration is now open to join an 18-week league at Khan Courts (471 Ouellette Ave) put on by the Windsor Adult Volleyball League and the Bull & Barrel with support of the Downtown BIA.

"It's something the Windsor Adult Volleyball League has always wanted to do since I've taken it over," said WAVL president Shawn Lippert. "This was the right opportunity to do it because all the things lined up perfectly."

According to Lippert the Bull & Barrel is going to service the venue and the WAVL group will organize the league which begins in April and ends in August.

Games will be played Sunday-Friday between 6-10pm with free parking in nearby city lots and metres after 6pm. For more information or to register a team check out HOME | Windsor Volleyball (wavl.net)
