Lifelong athlete chasing personal goal

Charlie Morgan is a former high school champ who has continued to stoke his competitive nature throughout the years. The 67-year old is using the Essex Centurion Solo Challenge as a filler for the lack of competition this year to reach his goal of riding 10,000 miles before Thanksgiving. "I've done miles, kilometers in that range before but usually they were tied to a series of bike trips and bike races or events all around Canada and the U.S" said the Kingsville resident.

The challenge launched in late May with Morgan having completed the 100-mile loop around Essex-County eight times.
