Mike Aubin is hoping to compete, for the third time, in the rescheduled Boston Marathon in September. In the meantime the 44-year old put in 20 miles for the Bridge 2 Bridge initiative and helped raise about $1,300 for the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation.

Aubin, who is slated to be a pace runner at the Detroit Marathon, started his run at the Ambassador Bridge Saturday morning and finished in Belle River. He last competed in early March in a half-marathon and looks forward to running side by side with others in the near future.
