Morneau wins Essex Kent

Christian Morneau fended off a late rally by Kevin Teichroeb to win the senior division of the 93rd edition of the Essex Kent junior golf tournament Tuesday at Roseland.

The event made its triumphant return after the pandemic forced last year's cancellation. The tournament was shortened by a day and championship day was the only day of match play.

Here are the winners of the three divisions:

Senior Division Champ - Christian Morneau

Novice Division Champ - Andrew Baker

Tyke Division Champ- Mason Garant
