LaSalle, ON — The LaSalle Vipers hit the ice this week as training camp officially opened at the Vollmer Complex. With the 2025-26 season fast approaching, players are battling for roster spots and making their case to be part of this year’s lineup.
Head coach Anthony Iaquinta told Powerplay Sports the coaching staff has been preparing for months to get to this point.
“It’s the time of the year where you're excited to get back to hockey, get back to the arena,” Iaquinta said. “Hard off-season. We put a lot of work into it and we're excited with the pieces we got. We’re looking forward to the year.”
The Vipers begin pre-season action at home on September 3rd against the Chatham Maroons, followed by a road game in Chatham on September 7th. The regular season officially opens on September 10th, when LaSalle hosts the London Nationals.
