The victory came a day after claiming a two-day Maple City golf tour event at Ambassador where Rombouts shot 77 both days. "Alyssa Cowling on the Jamieson Tour was also there and she gave me a fight for it. Her and I were neck and neck for the longest time".

Rombouts has won three of the four events she has played on the Jamieson this summer. Tour leader Kyla Charlebois has won four events. Having played in four events with one remaining Rombouts is not in contention for the overall title but is still focused on doing her best when the tour wraps up August 23rd at Beach Grove. "Stay focused, keep making pars and having fun.

On the boys side Jax Sisson has a shot at the title after being part of an unprecedented five-way tie for the win at Ambassador. He, along with Spencer Higginbottom, Rylan and Cale Marontate and Adrian Macera all fired a 3-over-74. "It was something I never experienced before" said Sisson who closed the day with a birdie putt on 18.
