The 6-6, 260 pound tight end was a four-star recruit out of Holy Names four years ago. He had 34 receptions and seven touchdowns while averaging 10 yards per catch in 2023 for the Nittany Lions.

“People like to doubt Penn State tight ends until it comes to this pre-draft process,” Johnson told reporters at the combine this week. “But real football players know that Penn State produces some of the best tight ends.”

Theo caught a two-yard pass for a touchdown during the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl December 30th.

"He has worked extremely hard to get to this point and I think that it will pay off in his performance," said his former high school coach Rob McIntyre. "He is going to turn some heads tomorrow (Friday).

Some are saying he could be chosen as high as the second round when the NFL Draft is held in Detroit April 25th through the 27th which would make him the highest picked player from our area.

Here's a look back to a touchdown he'll never forget against Kennedy.
