It was a #2 vs #8 in sr. boys volleyball but the Assumption Purple Raiders were more than worthy opponents for the Erie Migration Coyotes in the senior boys 2A playoffs. Erie Migration won three sets to one (25-22, 25-20, 25-23 and 25-21) and advance to host the semi-finals next Tuesday against Herman who swept Tecumseh Vista in their quarter-finals matchup. Schedule dropped: Windsor Express
The Windsor Express will open the season on December 27th in Kitchener before hosting their home opener on the 28th against the Titans at 3pm. The St. Clair College Saints made history this weekend, defeating the Centennial Colts 4–1 to capture their first Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) women’s soccer championship in 37 years.
